Volunteering Roles

  • Mentors

Mentors offer weekly one-to-one support, guidance and assistance to young people who may be experiencing difficulties or need someone positive to talk to.

  • Fundraising Assistants

We rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses in Shropshire to keep our programmes running. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves networking.

  • Community Cafe Assistants

Community Cafe Assistants help prepare and sell hot and cold food and drinks to community members, supporting a friendly and welcoming hub environment.

  • Site Maintenance Assistants

We are looking for volunteers who can help with maintenance tasks around our sites, including painting, carpentry and general maintenance of our community hubs.

  • Administration Assistants

Volunteering as an Administration Assistant means working closely with a small, passionate team who are dedicated to making a positive difference in the community.

  • Young Leaders

If you are aged 16 to 19, or up to 25 with additional needs, you can become a Young Leader and get involved in volunteering, fundraising and community programmes.

Volunteering gave me a way to give something back

When Sarah first started volunteering with 4 All Foundation, she was looking for a way to use her spare time to support people in her local community. What began as a few hours helping at activities soon became something she looked forward to every week.

Through volunteering, Sarah has helped welcome people into sessions, support community events, prepare activities and offer a friendly face to those who may be visiting for the first time. For her, the most rewarding part has been seeing people grow in confidence and feel part of something.

Volunteering with 4 All Foundation has been such a positive experience. I’ve met some wonderful people, learned new skills and felt genuinely valued as part of the team. It is amazing to see the difference a warm welcome, a conversation or a bit of support can make to someone’s day.

Sarah’s story is just one example of how volunteers help make 4 All Foundation’s work possible. Whether supporting regular sessions, helping at events or sharing specialist skills, every volunteer plays an important part in strengthening local communities.
