Community Champions - Wellbeing Programmes

Across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin

Make a difference. Share your skills. Meet new people. Be part of something special.

We are looking for enthusiastic, community-minded people to join 4 All Foundation as Community Champions.

Our Community Champions play an important role in helping us raise awareness of our work, build new relationships, encourage support and extend our reach into the communities we serve.

This is a flexible and rewarding voluntary role. It is an opportunity to make a genuine difference, use your existing skills and experience, learn new things, meet new people and be part of a great charity.

You do not need previous charity or fundraising experience. What matters most is your enthusiasm, integrity, willingness to get involved and belief in what 4 All Foundation is trying to achieve.

As a Community Champion, you will be a positive and enthusiastic representative of 4 All Foundation, helping us connect with individuals, businesses, community organisations and other potential supporters.

You will help us tell people about who we are, what we do and, most importantly, the difference we make.

Depending on your interests, skills and connections, you may:
  • Represent 4 All Foundation at community, fundraising and networking events.
  • Help raise awareness of our mission, values, activities and impact.
  • Share information about our work, events, fundraising opportunities and volunteering opportunities through your personal and professional networks.
  • Introduce the charity to people, businesses, organisations and community groups who may be interested in supporting our work.
  • Help build positive relationships with potential supporters, partners and stakeholders.
  • Support fundraising events by helping with promotion, welcoming guests and encouraging participation.
  • Encourage people to donate, fundraise, volunteer or otherwise get involved with the charity.
  • Share ideas, opportunities and feedback that could help us increase our reach and impact.
  • Use your own skills, experience and connections to help the charity where appropriate.
  • Help us identify new opportunities within your community and networks.
  • Share stories and examples of the difference the charity is making, using agreed information and messaging.
  • Follow the charity's policies, guidelines and agreed messaging when representing 4 All Foundation.

Application

If you are interested in this role, please enquire below.

If you would like to become a Community Champion, please visit our website to complete and submit the Community Champion application form.

We will then invite you to have an informal conversation with a member of the charity team to find out more about you, your interests, experience and how you would like to contribute.

Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, a DBS check and completion of the charity's relevant volunteer documentation.  Any checks undertaken will be proportionate to the role and are intended to protect our beneficiaries, supporters, Champions and the reputation of 4 All Foundation.

Successful applicants will receive a full induction covering the charity, our vision and mission, our values, the Community Champion role and the key responsibilities associated with representing 4 All Foundation.  You will also be given the opportunity to ask questions, meet members of the charity team and understand how you can get involved.

We want you to enjoy being a Champion and becoming a Community Champion should feel like an opportunity, not an obligation.  We want you to feel welcomed, valued and part of the 4 All Foundation family, while having the freedom to contribute in ways that suit your skills, interests and availability.
