4 All joins network of employers taking action on domestic abuse
4 All Foundation has joined a business network encouraging employers to take action on domestic abuse.
The charity is now a proud member of the Employers’ Initiative on Domestic Abuse (EIDA) which works with organisations to help them implement effective workplace responses to domestic abuse.
With a network of more than 2,000 businesses who collectively employ more than 25% of the UK workforce, EIDA aims to equip everyone to support staff affected by domestic abuse, share best practice with each other, and ultimately work towards a society where survivors thrive and domestic abuse is not tolerated.
George Hounsell, 4 All’s Director of Operations, said: “We are proud to join EIDA, as one of the growing numbers of employers who are committed to ensuring employees are aware of the signs of domestic abuse, provided appropriate support, and signposted toward relevant, effective help. We’d like to encourage as many other organisations as possible to join us – the more employers who are taking action, the bigger an impact we can make on this vital issue.”
EIDA CEO Susan Bright added: “We are delighted to welcome the 4 All Foundation team to EIDA’s growing membership. The commitment from employers in supporting their own employees whilst also inspiring other employers to do the same will help us to achieve our vision of every UK employer taking action on domestic abuse.”
